Reports suggested that Big B had agreed to play a Pakistani national in the film. However, Resul had said at that point that nothing had been confirmed. TOI has learnt that Resul recently went to Chennai to meet South superstarRajinikanth for the same film.
Resul's manager confirmed that Resul was indeed in Chennai over the weekend and is expected to return to Mumbai today, post a meeting with Rajinikanth.
"Resul's meeting with Rajinikanth sir is regarding his latest movie which he is going to direct," said Resul's manager.
Though unwilling to divulge more details, it will be interesting to see if Resul can get the two superstars of Bollywood and the South film industry to star in his directorial venture.
