This time round, due to the presence of Nana Patekar, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has demanded police protection for him in lieu of his portrayal of a police officer in the film.

He added that the role played by him in the film maybe disliked by terror organizations, which may lead to a threat to his life. He has demanded police protection to Nana from Satyapal Singh (Mumbai Police Commissioner) and R. R. Patil (State Home Minister).
